Reverend Dr. Frank O'Harroll, Sr.

 

Rev. Dr. Frank O'Harroll Sr., was born in Buckatunna, Mississippi where he grew up, received his home and christian training; as well as his early education.  Dr. O'Harroll attended Selma University in Selma, Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He later attended Gulf Coast Institute in Hattiesburg, MS where he obtained a Bachelor of Theology.  Years later, Dr. O'Harroll matriculated at the North American School of Theology in Orlando, FL where he obtained his Master's and Doctorate of Ministry.

Dr. O'Harroll has extensive ministerial experience and has had numerous and varied honors bestowed upon him.  He has served as President of the Polk County Ministerial Alliance.  He was appointed Chairman of the Evangelical Board of the Progressive M&E State Convention of Florida, Inc.  Moderator O'Harroll has served as Vice President of Florida Theological Seminary and Bible College since 2010.   He has also served as a dedicated Faculty Member and Instructor of Advanced Studies for Florida Theological Seminary and Bible College in Lakeland, FL.  Before being elected Moderator of the Union Foreign Missionary Baptist Association in June 2015, Dr. O'Harroll diligently served as Director of the Congress of Christian Workers for the UFMBA.  Dr. O'Harroll is Founder and Head Master of Bethel Christian Academy.  

Dr. O'Harroll is in his first term as Moderator of the UFMBA promoting a platform of unity in the Association.

Currently, Dr. Frank O'Harroll serves as Senior Pastor of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL where he has pastored his beloved congregation for over 25 years.

Moderator O'Harroll is married to the love of his life, Margaret and they have one adult son, Min. Frank O'Harroll, Jr.
